What is Dunarium?
A relaxing falling sand toy. It recreates those glass sand pictures people keep on their desks: tilt your phone and thousands of colored grains fall through gel and rising bubbles into a new landscape, every time.
Is Dunarium free?
Yes. The full toy is free to play. One optional lifetime unlock opens every palette, glass shape and backdrop. There is no subscription — you buy it once and it is yours.
Are there ads or accounts?
No and no. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing that interrupts. Dunarium is a toy, not a feed.
Does it need the internet?
No. The core app works offline. If you opt in to usage analytics, Firebase sends queued usage events when a connection is available. Airplane mode is a great place to use Dunarium.
Does my motion or camera data go anywhere?
Dunarium processes motion readings and camera frames on your device. If you opt in, it sends Firebase usage analytics. Those events never include photos, camera frames, recordings, your creator handle, or raw motion readings. You can turn analytics off in Settings.
Can I share what I make?
Yes. Record a clip with the soundscape baked in, or switch to timelapse and let a long, slow pour pack down into a few hypnotic seconds. Add captions if you like, and it signs off with a little animated card showing the look you used — and your @handle, if you set one.
Does Dunarium really use my phone's gravity?
Yes. It reads your phone's accelerometer and gyroscope, so tilting the device pours the sand the way real sand pours. Nothing is prerecorded. You can also freeze gravity, or set any resting angle as level.
What phones does Dunarium run on?
Both iPhone and Android. It runs offline after you install it, with no account and no ads.
